Quick, delicious and easy recipe.
- 50 dkg (1.1lb) of polish sausage (podwawelska)
- 20 dkg (0.45lb) of smoked bacon
- 4-5 potatoes
- 1 red onion
- 1 white onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 courgette
- 2 carrots
- 1/2 young cabbage
- 1 big tomato
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp of sweet paprika
- 1/2 tsp of coriander
- 1/2 tsp of basil
- Parsley
- Salt
- Pepper
Begin with preparation of your ingredients. Cut the bacon into squares, sausage into half moon shapes. Pour boiling water over your tomato (to peel the tomato easier, it helps to cut a cross in the middle of your veg). Peel and blend into tomato paste. Chop the garlic and other vegetables into medium/big size pieces.
Turn on programme Saute. Add bacon into the hot pot and fry. If you bacon is lean you can add some lard. Add sausage and fry together. Then add onion and garlic.
After add carrots and potatoes. Mix together.
Turn off your IP. Add remaining vegetables and spices apart of cabbage. Add 1 cup (150ml/5.2oz) of water.
Mix altogether.
Add you cabbage and slightly push into the pot.
Close the lid, move the valve into sealing position and programme Manual for 7 min. After the programme finishes, move valve into venting position and remove the pressure from the pot (QR).
Mix together and season with salt and pepper if needed.
